Meet the Facilitators
Mauro “Camara Ampi Shirapa” Reategui
As founder of Mama Yura Healing Art Center and a world-renowned visionary artist, Maestro Mauro has traveled extensively world wide sharing the teachings of plant medicine. Having studied under Pablo Amaringo, he translates his visions into intricate paintings and teaches others to do the same at his center.
In ceremony, he guides participants through prayer, song, and guitar to reconnect with Mother Earth, Pachamama, and find healing within.
His vision of a center rooted in indigenous plant wisdom and the arts is an answere prayer of devotion to every soul who visits, making Mama Yura feel like home to all.
Miguel “Charin” Minarez
Growing up learning about medicinal plants since 9 years old Charin is a young powerful maestro from the Ashaninka lineage.
Having left his village at a very early age, he spent months in solitude in the jungle learning how to prepare a variety of plant medicines through countless dedicated “dietas” and teachers.
Charin brings not only a deep wealth of wisdom but a gentle brotherly care to all that mee him. His amazing Icaro express the deep connection and reverence for the jungle and opens the hearts of those that listen.
Maestra “Sanken Biri” Diana
In Shipibo her name means “Pattern of Light”.
Maestra Diana is devoted to keeping her ancestral culture and healing practices alive through her song and passed down wisdom from her grandfather. Her icaros and intricate Kené stitch designs reflect the countless plant dietas she has studied since the age of 10.
With a powerful voice and tender heart, Maestra Diana connects participants to the ancient wisdom of her people through songs passed down by her ancestors, dedicating a specific icaro to each participant during ceremony.
Fabian“Ronin Soi” Rodriguez
The Shipibo name bestowed upon Fabian, Ronin Soi, translates to “Beautiful Serpent.” As the guide and founder of Realization Nation, he has developed a profound connection with the indigenous traditions and people of Peru.
What began as a journey of self-inquiry and shedding of layers over 15 years ago in the jungle has led him to a life of service, helping others who seek the same path.
Fabian brings his prayerful icaros to ceremony, using them to liberate the heart of each participant, guiding them with his flute, harmonica and a variety of instruments.
